The 2024 EPC Final started in #1 Parkland's favor as they raced out to an unheard-of 15-0 lead. Fortunately for the Trojans, that set the tone for the rest of the night as they were able to capture their third straight EPC crown with the 3-0 (25-9, 25-18, 25-15) win over #3 Whitehall.  The win is the program's 15th conference title and 5th in the last 10 years.

1st Team EPC All-Star Josh Nation (Jr. OH) led the offense with 13 kills and added 9 digs, 2 blocks, and 1 ace.  Fellow 1st Team EPC All-Star Luke Smith (Sr. MH) 6 kills, 6 blocks, and 8 digs while Owen Rodgers (Sr. OPP) erupted for 10 kills, 2 blocks, and 3 digs.  Will Stiles (Sr. S) paced the offense with 31 assists but contributed from the service line, serving all 14 points in the first set while collecting 5 aces and 5 digs.

Next up for the Trojans is the District XI AAA tournament which they will enter as the #1 seed and receive a bye into the semifinals.  They will take on the winner of the #4 Liberty vs #5 Nazareth match.  The District XI AAA bracket is very similar to the EPC bracket with the exception being that Freedom will be the #6 seed and #7 Northampton.  The semifinals will take place at Catasauqua High School on Thursday, May 23rd.

#1 Parkland and #4 Liberty battled on Thursday night at Allen for the right to play for EPC gold next Wednesday.  Parkland played efficiently and aggressively all night and earned the 3-0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-22) win.  Luke Smith contributed 11 kills, 3 blocks, and 2 aces while Josh Nation (Jr. OH) added 13 kills, 2 aces, and 6 digs.  Brady Hayward finished with 6 kills and 2 blocks.   Will Stiles guided the offense with 38 assists.

Next up for the Trojans is #3 Whitehall who defeated #2 Emmaus 3-1 (17-25, 25-18, 25-19, 31-29).  The EPC Final will be held on Wednesday at 6:05pm at Allen HS.  Before the match the EPC 1st Team All-Stars will be honored.  That ceremony will begin at 5:45pm.

Congratulations to the 2024 EPC Boys Volleyball All Star teams selected at the post-season coaches meeting tonight.  Parkland was well represented on the three teams selected.

Luke Smith (Sr. MH) and Josh Nation (Jr. OH) - 1st team All-EPC

Will Stiles (Sr. S) - 2nd Team All-EPC

Kumayl Soonasra (Sr. L) - 3rd Team All-EPC

Parkland closed out the 2024 regular season with a trek to Delaware Valley.  Unfortunately for the Trojans, they ran into a very inspired and hot team as the host Warriors down the Trojans 3-0 (25-20, 29-27, 25-20).  Parkland saw a fairly even distribution on offense as Alex Wilby and Luke Smith both collected 10 kills while Owen Rodgers added 8 kills.  Will Stiles dished out 32 assists.  Delaware Valley was lead by 2023 PVCA 2nd Team All-State Chris U'Glay who hammered down 33 kills on 57 attempts.

Next up for the Trojans are the EPC Semifinals on Thursday at Allen HS against the winner of the #4 Liberty vs #5 Nazareth match will takes place Tuesday.  Parkland's match will take place at 7:00pm.

In another chapter of the Parkland vs Emmaus rivalry, Parkland emerged from this year's regular season match with a 3-1 (25-16, 25-21, 27-29, 27-25) win.  Josh Nation (Jr. OH) collected 23 kills, 4 aces, and 8 digs.  Luke Smith (Sr. MH) added 12 kills, 4 blocks, and 4 digs and Owen Rodgers (Sr. OPP) added 11 kills, 5 blocks, and 4 digs.  Will Stiles (Sr. S) dished out 50 assists, 6 digs, and 1 ace.  Defensively, Kumyal Soonasra (Sr. L) had 16 digs and 1 ace and Ahmad Jaffer (Sr. DS) added 7 digs.  The win moves Parkland to 14-2 overall (11-1 EPC) and into the #1 seed for the EPC tournament.  That bracket will be determined by the league soon.

Next up for Parkland is their last regular season match on the road at Delaware Valley on Friday night.  JV 4:30pm / V 5:30pm

On the night Parkland honored their seniors, the entire roster contributed to an impressive 3-0 (25-8, 25-18, 25-11) win over visiting Northampton.  All 12 of Parkland seniors saw action and contributed in one way or another.  Luke Smith (Sr. MH) led the way with 11 kills, 2 blocks, and 1 ace while Owen Rodgers (Sr. OPP) added 8 kills, 2 blocks, and 2 digs.  Alex Wilby (Sr. OH) added 7 kills and 3 digs.  Will Stiles (Sr. S) dished out 19 assists, had 8 digs, and 2 aces.  Colby Brisendine added 15 assists and 1 block.

The profound impact these 12 seniors have had on the Parkland Volleyball program is beyond words. Frederic Patton, Colby Brisendine, Will Stiles, Kumayl Soonasra, Alex Wilby, Rahul Jasapara, Ahmad Jaffer, Luke Smith, Shlok Mehta, Owen Rodgers, Logan Nassry, and Brady Hayward along with managers Maggie Smith and Madi Siggins have set an unprecedented standard for future Trojans volleyball players. Their boundless energy, passion for the sport, and camaraderie have been evident throughout their four years in the program. With a remarkable match record of 55-8 and 174-42 in sets, to-date they have clinched 2 EPC Championships, 1 District XI AAA Championships, and 1 PIAA AAA State Championship. The memories and happiness shared with coaches, administrators, parents, family, and friends will endure a lifetime. Your presence will forever grace our sidelines.

Next up for Parkland is the last EPC match of the year at Emmaus on Wednesday night.  JV 5:00 pm / Varsity 6:00 pm The match will be televised live on SENetwork on Chanel 50 SD / 550 HD at 6:00 pm.

In a highly anticipated matchup of two of the top EPC teams this season, Parkland flexed its muscle in defeating host Nazareth 3-1 (25-16, 25-17, 22-25, 25-10).  Josh Nation (Jr. OH) led the offense with 15 kills while Kumayl Soonasra (Sr. L) and Ahmad Jaffer (Sr. DS) anchored the defense with a combined 24 digs.

Next up for the Trojans is Senior Night on Monday vs Northampton.  JV 5:30pm / Senior Night activities around 6:30pm / Varsity around 7:00pm

In another EPC match, the host Trojans defeated the visiting Panthers 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-12).  Logan Nassry (Sr. MH) led the offense with 10 kills and added 2 blocks while Shlok Mehta (Sr. OH) added 6 kills.  Colby Brisendine (Sr. S/MH) paced the offense with 19 assists while added 3 kills and 2 blocks.

Next up for the Trojans is a big EPC match at Nazareth on Thursday night.  SECTV will be televising the match live on channel 50 SD / 550 HD.  JV 4:30pm / V 5:35pm
