Trojans close out regular season with 3-2 setback at Emmaus

In another classic match, Parkland saw its regular season end with a 3-2 (25-21, 15-25, 25-17, 24-26, 16-14) loss to Emmaus.  The match gave the large, rowdy crowd everything they could have asked for as these two heavyweights went point for point for over 2 hours.

 

Next up for Parkland is the EPC Quarterfinals, where they will UNOFFICIALLY face Northampton next Thursday (5/7).  The official details will be released soon.

Trojans take down K-Kids in 3

On Monday night, Parkland celebrated Senior Night before the Varsity match, honoring their 4 players (Jude Ruisch, Bear Jacobs, Gabe Chase, and Ryan Kearney) along with one manager (Sarah Paugh).  Once that celebration was completed, the Trojans turned their focus to visiting Northampton, who entered the match 10-5 (7-3 EPC).  Parkland played well all night, in all areas, and took the match 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-18).

Trojans defeat Nazareth in 5

In a classic match, Parkland defeated the very talented Nazareth team 3-2 (25-16, 25-22, 16-25, 20-25, 17-15).  The win moves Parkland to 11-2 (9-1 EPC).

Parkland improved to 10-2 on the season with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-14) win over visiting Pocono Mountain West.

Parkland took the long trip north to Delaware Valley HS on Thursday night and returned home with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-15) win to move to 9-2 (7-1 EPC).

Parkland traveled to Allen on Wednesday night and took the EPC matchup 3-0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-7)  The win moves Parkland to 8-2 (7-1 EPC).

 

Next up for Parkland is a long road trip to Delaware Valley tomorrow night.  JV will begin at 4:30pm and Varsity starts around 5:30pm.

Parkland takes 9th at Koller Classic

Parkland battled through their initial pool, emerging as the #1 seed from pool D by point differential.  Parkland (+38), Central York (+33), and Shaler (+28) all finished 6-2.  Parkland then faced local rival Emmaus in the 2nd round of playoffs, where the Green Hornets ended Parkland's day in the single-game playoff 25-18.  #1 AAA North Allegheny took the title over #3 AAA Central Dauphin.
