Parkland's season ends in DXI semi loss to Whitehall
#4 Whitehall entered the District XI AAA semifinal on Thursday night seeking revenge on #1 Parkland for last week's EPC Final. Whitehall channeled that motivation and handed the Trojans a season-ending 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-17) defeat. The win advances Whitehall to the District XI AAA final against #3 Emmaus, which defeated #2 Freedom 3-1 in the other semifinal. The final will be held at Catasauqua High School on Tuesday (5/26) at 6:45pm.
We would like to thank our four seniors for playing their final match in a Parkland uniform. Gabe Chase, Ryan Kearney, Jude Ruisch, and Bear Jacobs each contributed so much to this program and to Parkland athletics as a whole. Your statistics will be difficult to replace, but even more so, your leadership and competitive drive will be missed the most. Continue to do great things.
