Parkland finishes 5th at Bobcat Invitational
On Saturday, Parkland traveled to Northeastern High School in Manchester, PA, to compete in the 40-team Bobcat Invitational. The Trojans were able to capture their initial with a 4-O defeating Mcdowell, Northern York, Mechanicsburg, and Northeastern. In the play-in round, they were able to defeat Nazareth 2-1, which put the Trojans in the championship bracket. There they were able to defeat Redland 2-1 before falling to District One powerhouse Pennridge 2-1. That placed the Trojans 5th overall.

Pates handle Trojans in 4
Freedom proved too much for the visiting Trojans on Thursday night, taking the match 3-1 (25-19, 25-27, 25-18, 25-21). The win moves Freedom to 4-0 (3-0 EPC) on the season while Parkland falls to 3-2 (2-1 EPC).
For Parkland, Zeke Gordner (So. OH) led the offense with 11 kills and added 3 digs, while Jude Ruisch (Sr. OH) added 10 kills, 10 digs, and 1 ace. Defensively, Owen Barnett (Jr. L) collected 15 digs, and Gabe Chase (Sr. S) also added 10 digs while dishing out 34 assists.
Next up for the Trojans is the Bobcat Invitational. JV will participate in the Friday tournament while Varsity will travel there on Saturday. All of the information for these tournaments can be found on the schedule page under the Notes for the events.
Trojans fall to Southern Lehigh
Southern Lehigh made the trip to Parkland on Tuesday night and left with a well-earned 3-1 (25-23, 25-17, 17-25, 25-20) win. Despite Parkland's best effort in the third set, the Spartans closed out the match to improve to 3-1. Parkland falls to 3-1 (2-0 EPC). Zeke Gordner (So. OH) led the offense with 15 kills and added 1 block and 3 digs, while Vishank Somala (Jr. OPP/MH) contributed 5 kills, 3 blocks, and 6 digs.
Next up for Parkland is a road match at Freedom on Thursday night. JV will begin at 4:00 pm, and Varsity will begin around 5:15 pm.
Trojans close out week with sweep at Becahi
Parkland finished their opening week of the 2026 season 3-0 following a 3-0 (25-4, 25-6, 25-4) win at Bethlehem Catholic.
Next up for the Trojans is another home, non-league match vs Southern Lehigh on Tuesday. JV will begin at 5:30 pm and Varsity around 6:45 pm.
Trojans grab non-league match over North Penn
Parkland was able to make it 2-0 on the 2026 season with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-20) win over a visiting, out-of-district opponent in North Penn. Bear Jacobs (Sr. MH) came out on fire, finishing the night with 10 kills, and added 1 block and 2 aces. Zeke Gordner (So. OH) led the offense with 11 kills and added 2 blocks, while Zamin Soonasra (Jr. OH/OPP) added 9 kills and 11 digs. Owen Barnett (Jr. L) controlled seemingly everything defensively, adding 16 digs and also 3 aces. Gabe Chase (Sr. S) dished out 35 assists and added 9 digs and 1 block.
Next up for the Trojans is another match on Thursday, on the road this time, at Bethlehem Catholic. JV will begin at 4 pm with Varsity starting around 5 pm.
Trojans open 2026 with sweep of Liberty
Parkland began the 2026 season with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-16, 25-20) win over visiting Liberty. Zeke Gordner (So. OH) contributed 15 kills and 1 block while Bear Jacobs (Sr. MH) added 12 kills, 4 digs, and 2 blocks. Vishank Somala (Jr. OPP) chipped in 8 kills and 1 block. Owen Barnett (Jr. L) was solid all night, anchoring the defense with 14 digs. Gabe Chase (Sr. S) guided the offense with 34 assists and added 2 aces.
Next up for Parkland is another home match tomorrow night against District 1's North Penn. JV will begin at 5:30pm and Varsity will begin around 6:45pm.

In addition to the EPC schedule, this season will see the Trojans travel to the Bobcat Invitational and Koller Classic tournaments, as well as play the following non-league matches.
